3 Years Later

I'm not the most prolific of bloggers or writers, am I? What's been happening in the last several months? Well, I've moved twice and settled down in Omaha, the land where I grew up. I work at two dental offices. And I get at least two emails a month asking me when I'm going to finish the Tale of Light and Shadow series. This post is for one purpose only:

Stay tuned.

I plan on having some news this summer on that. In the meantime, I sincerely do appreciate everyone's patience. I know it sucks to wait on a book. I've been waiting years for the next book in A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin. But as I've said before, I will publish book three. It's just a matter of time.

I hope you do finish your Light and Shadow Series. I’m a 72 year old Grandmother and I believe the series has something for most readers that enjoy this type of book. Were there some parts of the book I would have changed up a bit, yes. But I think you have a good thing going, don’t stop now, I think I may sound like some character in your books..lol. Best wishes

I have listened to Volumes 1and 2 of A Tale of Light and Shadow. I love this story! The character development is great. There is a nice blend of predictable circumstances and surprise twists. I am eagerly awaiting for Volume 3. Well done. Both novels had my complete attention. Thank you!

I LOVE your style of writing. These books had me on the edge of my chair from start to finish!
Waiting for book 3, I remind myself of the child from the talk in last General conference, by Elder Kyle S. McKay
of the Seventy, when his five-year-old son came to him and announced, “Dad, I’ve figured something out. I’ve figured out that soon for you is a very long time for me.”! 😉
Thank you for letting us know that book 3 will come. I will try to get control of 5 year old me and wait patiently!

I’m just here checking in, which I like to do from time-to-time on book three of your light and shadow series. I’m encouraged to hear that you still want to get the book out there, because I need to know what is the deal with that forest.

Also, I read your earlier post about how the publisher wanted to “rebrand” the book covers to look like romance, and you can tell them from me that as a fantasy reader I’m far more interested in the original cover of the first book.

I’ve love book 1 and 2. They were both recommended to me and I’ve recommend them to many others. I hope you get book 3 published if not under contract to the publisher please keep me informed if you self publish as I would definitely purchase. I have been waiting for awhile for this book and also a new one from Julianne Donaldson I am a prolific reader but you have been one one of my favorites.

I don’t know if this comment will actually be seen. It’s been over a year since any news about book 3 was posted, but I just have to say that I absolutely loved book 1 & 2. I hope book 3 is coming soon!

I was so disappointed after stumbling upon a tale of light and shadow and binging both books to find the author hasn't finished the third. AAHHHHHHH WHAT HAPPENS TO ISABEL AND RUTHER AND JAMES AND MAGGY AND THIRSTY??? WILL ISABEL BE ABLE TO FIND HENRY AFTER ESCAPING?? WILL JAMES EVER FIND CECILIA OR WILL HE CHOOSE THIRSTY??

I really hope the 3rd book will come out someday.

I loved Books 1 and 2 of the Light and Shadows series. Please get Book 3 finished and into book stores so I can find out what happens to Isabel, Ruther, Henry, James, Maggie, Thirsty, and the other characters that I have grown to love. Thank you for your hard and imaginative work!

I just finished reading books 1 and 2 in The Light and Shadow series and loved the story and characters. I cannot wait for book 3 to be published.

Any new info on when book 3 will be out in the Shadow and Light series? I get so involved in The characters of a well written book, I’m dying to know what happens and have dreams about how Isabel, Henry, James, Rufer, and thirsty will triumph!

So I just finished book 2 last night. I loved how the book ended and am excited for the next book. Are there still plans to publish book 3?

Please release the 3rd book in some fashion. I finished the 2nd book 2 years ago and still think about it today. I can express how much i want to know the ending. Please find a way to publish it!!! I will seriously pay good money for a copy.

Yes I’m sure all your fans would be happy to go in on the cost of self-publishing or anything if publishers aren’t wanting to do it! I have really really enjoyed this and I’m sad I didn’t check to make sure that series was finished before buying them😞 I usually try to do that
